44th Yapı-TurkeyBuild Hosts the Whole World

More Than 45,000 Visitors from 157 Countries Visit Istanbul

The 44th Yapı-TurkeyBuild Istanbul has been the meeting point for representatives of local and foreign organization in its building and construction industries. At the exhibition, 320 exhibitors from 17 countries showcased more than 200 product groups.

Yapı-TurkeyBuild, a global cooperation and knowledge sharing platform, increased its visitor number by 171 percent and the number of foreign visitors by 191 percent, and hosted 45,731 visitors from 157 countries, 8,232 of which were international visitors.

More Than 400 Global Buyers Were Present at Yapı-TurkeyBuild for New Partnerships

In addition to visitors and exhibitors, investors and hosted buyers showed great interest in the exhibition. Top-tier decision makers have been invited to Turkey within the scope of VIP Hosted Buyer Program. Nearly 400 investors and hosted buyers from 60 countries, including Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Qatar, the UK and Greece, met with local business partners for new cooperation opportunities.

Focus on Energy, Environment and Sustainability

Yapı-TurkeyBuild, which sets the tone of the sector not only for Turkey and the region, but the entire planet, again shaped the future of the sector with the opportunities it provides for the professionals and focused on environmental and sustainability issues. 

ZeroBuild Summit ’22-International ZeroEnergy Buildings Summit, which was in-person for the first time, was held with the motto, “Change Starts Here!” ZeroBuild Summit ’22 hosted nearly 100 local and foreign speakers in 16 sessions for four days. In order to meet Turkey’s 2053 Net Zero Emission commitment, the responsibilities of the building, construction materials and technologies sector were discussed in detail.

Techno-Enterprises Met with The Sector at Yapı Tech Garage

At the previous exhibition, local ventures that offer new services and solutions in construction materials and technologies were hosted while this year 13 start-ups met with the representatives and the professionals of the sector. Held in collaboration with Değişim Mimarı – İnovatif Yönetim Danışmanlığı, Yapı Tech Garage hosted the entrepreneurs who contribute the digital transformation of the sector and also the “Marathon Presentations” on March 26.

“Golden Magnet” Booth Design Awards Found Their Owners

Yapı-TurkeyBuild Istanbul’s traditional “Golden Magnet” Booth Design Awards found their owners with a ceremony held at the end of the second day of the exhibition. The companies, which transformed their brands and products into a point of attraction through their booth designs, competed in “Golden Magnet” Booth Design Contest. The independent jury members consisting of the most honorable designers, interior architects, engineers and professionals of the sector evaluated several criteria such as the booth’s connection with the product and reflecting the desired qualities of the product in the best way, arrangement of 3D design object, aesthetics in using visual materials, modularity of the booth and its reusage in different places.

The companies that received Golden Magnet Awards in thanks to their booth designs that make their brands and products attraction centers are: Winner, Samet Kalıp ve Madeni Eşya San. Ve Tic. A.Ş; Runner-up, Arkitech İleri Yapı Teknolojileri İnşaat İmalat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş.; third-prize, Sever Makine Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş.; honorable mention, Kızılay Sistem Yapı A.Ş.; HYVE Group Encouragement Award, Emek Kapı Sistemleri; Company Offering the Best Technological Solutions at the Booth, Inohom Akıllı Ev Sistemleri; and Company Offering the Most Creative Identity Design at the Booth, Glulam Sa. 

Associations Represent the Elevator Industry

This year, companies from the elevator and escalator industry were not exhibitors at the 44th Yapı-TurkeyBuild. The industry has been represented by Elevator and Escalator Industrialists Association (AYSAD) and Elevator Industrialists Association (ASDER) with their booths.  ASDER, which is formed by elevator installation companies, provided support to the visitors by sharing their requests, including new installation, maintenance or revision with its members in related regions.

45th Yapı-TurkeyBuild Istanbul Prepares for the 100th Anniversary of Turkish Republic

Preparations for the 45th Yapı-TurkeyBuild, which will be held next year on the 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic, has already begun.  Following extensive meetings carried out for four days, this year’s 320 exhibitors from 17 countries made their bookings in order to meet international investor at TUYAP on April 26-29, 2023.
