“In 2006, we initiated the development of lift systems designed to adapt existing buildings flexibly and easily to the requirements of their users,” explains family owner, Maximilian Priglinger, when reflecting on Ascendor’s inception. He said:

“Our engineers remain passionate about the dual technical challenge posed by lift construction and the highly variable installation scenarios. This passion ensures we provide innovative solutions tailored to diverse structural conditions. As a globally renowned Austrian premium manufacturer committed to maximum quality and exceptional service, we guarantee sustainable benefits for both young and old across multiple generations.”

Ascendor Understands Inclusivity

Inclusivity is the foundation of a world without barriers. It extends beyond physical accommodations and embraces a mindset that recognizes and values the uniqueness of each individual.

Ascendor Stands for Accessible Infrastructure

Ascendor’s vision is to create a barrier-free world for future generations, necessitating a fundamental transformation of our infrastructure. Our buildings, transportation systems and public spaces need to be designed with accessibility in mind. This involves incorporating ramps, elevators and tactile pathways for individuals with mobility challenges, as well as features like auditory signals and braille signage for those with visual impairments. Ascendor actively supports local dealers in India by producing innovative and personalized platform stairlift solutions to make homes accessible for everyone.

As an innovative home lift manufacturer, Ascendor produces high-quality lift systems for both indoor and outdoor spaces. With more than 180 certified specialist retail partners worldwide, the company sells cabin lifts, platform lifts, stairlifts and lifting platforms, contributing to a barrier-free world for generations. The company manufactures all lifts in Austria.

Ascendor constructs lifts that fully comply with international quality and safety standards and hold TÜV certification. Annually, approximately 1,200 individual lift systems are meticulously planned and manufactured at the company site, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.

With its in-house “Innovation Hub,” Ascendor provides innovations with the vital space and budget they require. As a premium manufacturer of lifts, the company consistently sets a high benchmark, ensuring its products remain at the cutting edge of technology and design.

Ascendor Products Perfectly Fit

Ascendor provides a wide range of products, including platform stairlifts and homelifts, catering to the diverse needs of individuals. All our lifts are designed to support people using wheelchairs and other walking aids. For individuals with disabilities and senior citizens, a stairlift holds great significance, offering them a sense of freedom, mobility and independence. Vertical lifts eliminate the need for individuals to relocate from their homes to unfamiliar environments. They ensure that individuals can navigate safely and comfortably within their own familiar spaces, even without assistance.

As mobility may decline with age, due to disability or as a result of an accident, stairs can pose a significant challenge — even within one’s own home. This is where a stairlift becomes invaluable. It operates in a straightforward manner: A stable seat moves along a track, controlled by either a remote control or a lever control.

Ascendor provides stairlifts for both straight and curved stairs, as well as vertical stairlifts. These solutions are highly adaptable to meet the specific needs of customers and the installation location. The space-saving design of Ascendor’s platform stairlifts makes them suitable for narrow spaces. The innovative operating concept ensures uninterrupted lift use, promoting unrestricted mobility.

Providing Limitless Freedom

The seat of the platform stairlift can be swiveled, ensuring safe entry and exit. If the stairlift is traveling across multiple floors, there is one designated stop per floor, where passengers can embark or disembark, and the lift is parked when not in use.

By introducing Ascendor stairlifts in India, we are taking a significant step toward creating a “barrier-free” India. These mobility solutions can seamlessly integrate into real estate projects across various segments such as residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, hospitality and education.

Ascendor Partners in India

Our highly trained employees and selected sales partners, including House of Mobility based in Mumbai (houseofmobility.in), ensure excellent planning, installation and top-notch after-sales service for end customers.

For a Barrier-Free India

As a leading platform stairlift manufacturer, our vision for a barrier-free India is rooted in the belief that mobility should never be a limitation. We aim to transform the architectural landscape across the country, ensuring that wheelchair users encounter no hindrance in accessing various spaces.

Our commitment involves crafting cutting-edge stairlift solutions that seamlessly integrate with architectural structures, providing a reliable and efficient means for individuals with mobility challenges to navigate multi-level environments effortlessly. Through partnerships with architects, builders and decision-makers, we strive to make wheelchair accessibility a standard feature in every building, reinforcing our dedication to fostering an India where everyone, regardless of physical abilities, can enjoy unhindered access to all facets of life.
