Sharp Engineers unveils new machines in grand fashion.

A product launch for Stark gear machines and SEG-10S gearless machines was organized by Sharp Engineers at the Le Meridien, Windsor Place, Janpath, New Delhi, on June 9. More than 400 guests from 200 elevator companies from the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR), Punjab and Uttar Pradesh attended, including members of the Delhi Elevator Association (DEA). Amit Patel, technical director, Sharp Engineers; your author; Tarun Gupta, secretary, DEA; and Saravjeet Singh, chairman, DEA, addressed the gathering.
A Positive Reception
The new products were unveiled and their advantages were explained in detail. It was highlighted that both are very compact, easy to install and cost effective, per market demand.
Sharp Engineers’ representatives received positive feedback from customers while interacting with them at the event. They appreciated that the company had arranged this type of event, which had been delayed for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Company History and Evolution
Sharp Engineers was established in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 1994. The company has more than 25 years’ experience in manufacturing elevator traction machines and parts. It has optimized quality, customer service, after-sales services and all other aspects concerned with creating a world-class brand. Sharp Engineers has always been committed to a policy of consistent, superior quality.
In 1999, the company introduced its model Cauldron-125 with the basic features of compact design and easy installation. Sharp Engineers installed 5 million of these machines all over India and around the globe. This number is increasing day by day. In 2003, the company’s quality and service attracted many of the top companies in India and, at the same time, Sharp Engineers began to supply its range of products to multinational company KONE Elevator India Pvt. Ltd.
In 2005, Sharp Engineers confirmed its presence globally and began supplying all over the world. It exports its range of products worldwide to more than 20 countries. Sharp Engineers’ ideology is to achieve the best quality. In 2007, with mass production facilities, dominant machinery, a high-quality technical R&D team, plus with the main asset of 200 enthusiastic employees, the company started its in-house production with 7,500 m2 area in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation Kathwada industrial district.

In 2008, the company launched its Model MP-61, featuring synthetic oil and a three-direction mounting facility. In 2012, it began manufacturing gearless permanent magnet synchronous motors, or PMSM, for elevators. These motors’ special feature is they can be installed without a machine room. They also save energy and are relatively maintenance-free. In 2016, Sharp Engineers increased production capacity and started manufacturing motors with the latest automatic motor winding machine with a fast-forward conveyor assembly system.
