Modernisation of residential building in two phases
submitted by Apex Lifts
Apex Lifts are pleased to have been appointed lead contractor for the modernisation of two passenger lifts at Carl Ekman House. Holding a long-term lift servicing and maintenance partnership with Gravesham Borough Council across their residential sites, Apex Lifts strived to oversee the modernisation project duration with minimal disturbance to residents and end-users.
Carl Ekman House is a 14-storey, high-rise residential building located in Northfleet, Gravesend. Lift modernisation works were carried out to improve reliability within two phases. This ensured one lift remained fully operational for building occupants throughout the project duration.
