Garden City, New York-based Elevator Systems, Inc. (ESI) announced an equity partnership with ShoreView Industries in April. ESI designs, assembles, tests and delivers elevator controllers and ancillary products to elevator service providers. ShoreView is a Minneapolis-based private equity firm that has raised more than US$1.3 billion of committed capital across four funds. ShoreView partners with family and entrepreneur-owned companies across many sectors. As a component of its growth strategy, ESI will actively seek acquisitions of elevator parts companies across the country. “ESI is very excited to partner with ShoreView as we take the next step in growth for the company,” ESI owner Nat Alcamo said.
