Powerhouse Co. joined forces with RED Co., Being Development and Martens Construction on Baan Tower.

Dutch firm Powerhouse Co., in partnership with RED Co., Being Development and Martens Construction, aims to start construction this year on the 150-m-tall, 47-story Baan Tower in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, dezeen reported. Overlooking the Erasmus Bridge, it promises to be the slimmest residential tower in Europe. There will be 145 apartments within its 21,000 sq. ft., along with penthouses at the top and a ground-level café. The design will feature a dark-gray stone façade and a plinth in the base reflecting nearby post-war architecture. Baan Tower will join several architecturally significant buildings recently built in “the Netherlands’ second city.”
