GMV India Pvt. Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of GMV SpA, Italy, hosted the GMV India Strategy Meet 2024 themed “Heart 2 Heart” on April 24-26 at the Hotel Radisson Blu in Nashik, Maharashtra. The meet brought together GMV India’s channel partners, esteemed clients and key account partners to discuss the business’s progress through 2023-24 and lay the groundwork for differentiated strategies for short- and long-term business cycles.

A focus on transparency, values, ethics, cooperation and mutual respect was central to the GMV India Strategy Meet. The event was attended by more than 75 participants, including partners of GMV India from various corners of India and abroad, key partners and dedicated employees of GMV India. It provided an invaluable platform for networking, knowledge-sharing and collective goal-setting. The three-day event was filled with interactive sessions, insightful discussions and opportunities for all participants to engage with one another.

The meet welcomed distinguished guests whose insights and leadership enriched the proceedings. Chief guests of honor were Suraj Thodimarath, managing director (MD), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Wittur Elevator Components India Pvt. Ltd. and president of Elevator & Ecalator Component Manufacturers Association of India (EECMAI); and Hiren Panchal, MD of Apson Motor (India) Pvt. Ltd. and vice president (VP) of EECMAI. Their presence emphasized the significance of the meet and underscored the collaborative spirit driving the industry forward. Adding further gravitas to the event, Dr. Marco Martini, GMV SpA group director, delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the company’s strategic direction and reaffirming GMV Group’s commitment to innovation and leadership in the elevator industry.

The GMV India Strategy Meet 2024 saw a series of structured sessions orchestrated by Dr. Santosh S, executive director and CEO of GMV India, Gulf and the APAC region. These sessions were designed to provide strategic direction for the upcoming year and address critical areas that promise to drive business growth. The agenda included an in-depth business overview session spanning two days conducted by Kiran Ajwani, a business coach from The Growth Factory, as well as Zen coach and corporate monk Dr. Himanshu Buch, who specializes in change management. These sessions provided valuable insights into market trends, growth strategies and organizational development, equipping participants with the tools to navigate the evolving business landscape.

The three-day event was filled with interactive sessions, insightful discussions and opportunities for all participants to engage with one another.

In his address, Santosh emphasized the theme “Heart 2 Heart,” highlighting the need for harmonious business relationships as a cornerstone of sustainable growth. He also emphasized the GMV philosophy of Win-Win-Fair-Fair (WWFF) and co-existence. He explained that these philosophies underpin the success of GMV India by fostering deeper connections among stakeholders, encouraging transparency and nurturing a culture of mutual respect with winning instinct, rather than killing instinct. WWFF co-existence, along with the “Heart 2 Heart” approach, encourages meaningful interactions and emphasizes the value of collaboration in achieving collective success. By adopting this philosophy, GMV India aims to not only expand its business footprint, but also build a strong foundation for future growth and success. GMV India Associate VP of Sales & Marketing Bivas Roy covered these key principles that underscored the entire event.

The foundational elements of transparency, values, ethics, cooperation and mutual respect were highlighted during an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements within the company. Embracing ethical business practices aligns with GMV India’s broader success story, as evidenced by its remarkable performance in the 2023-24 fiscal year. The company stated:

To name a few, Attico Elevators of Delhi won the Best GLO-CAL Partner Award 2023-24, while Eletech Trading Corp. received the Best Distributor Award 2023-24. The Emerging GLO-CAL Award was presented to Sky Tech Elevator, Sri Lanka, the Most Compliant Partner Award went to Opel Lifts, Pune.

The GMV India Strategy Meet 2024 combined strategic planning and meaningful discussion among partners and clients about the GMV Omega Evo Smart machine-room-less (MRL) traction lift. GMV India took the opportunity to explain and elaborate on the newly launched GMV Omega Evo Smart MRL traction lift, marking a significant expansion to its product portfolio. The event concluded on April 26 after GMV India partners and clients were treated to an exclusive tour of GMV India’s new high-tech facility. A tree-planting ceremony was facilitated by Anand Singh Bisht, plant head; Arvind Kumar, head of Strategy & Projects; and Mrs. Snehal, head of Human Resources at GMV India. The tree-planting ceremony reinforced the idea of a sustainable future for all. Overall, the event strengthened business relationships and laid a solid foundation for future growth and success.
