KONE India is to provide vertical-transportation solutions for this project, currently under construction in Mumbai.
KONE India has received an order to install 10 elevators in Palais Royale, slated to be among the tallest buildings in the country at 300 meters high. Under construction in Mumbai at Worli, the tower is a modern residential building and is one of India’s first precertified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® Platinum-rated green residential buildings. KONE will provide six MiniSpace™ elevators that will travel at speeds of up to 7 mps, which are among the fastest in the country, and another four MiniSpace elevators traveling at 3.5 mps.
The building is also setting benchmarks for quality, design, environmental aesthetics, water conservation, energy efficiency, waste management, safety and security, urban planning, technology and overall building management.
Vikas Kasliwal, vice chairman and CEO, Shree Ram Urban Infrastructure, Ltd., said:
“Palais Royale represents the futuristic image of the Mumbai city. We have opted only for [high] global technology solutions for the building. We chose KONE MiniSpace elevators, as we believe [they] will provide fast, smooth, safe and comfortable vertical transportation to residents.”
