Continued success leads to potential future expansion.
With more than 10 years in the industry, Master Elevator Parts prides itself on being a cornerstone in the elevator industry, consistently driving forward with innovative solutions and exemplary service.
Under the leadership of Don Anthony, general manager for the Northeast, the Long Island City, NY-based company is ambitiously expanding its reach and eyeing substantial growth in places like Texas, Florida and beyond, including plans to open branch offices in these states due to client demand. “This expansion is guided by our mission to serve as the primary resource for elevator companies, offering the fastest and most comprehensive solutions for parts and materials,” Anthony said.
Our rapid response time and extensive inventory make us the go-to supplier for immediate needs.
— Don Anthony, general manager, Master Elevator Parts
Master Elevator Parts was founded in 2012 by Kathleen Carr and Patrick A. Carrajat and saw an approximate 10% growth each year. In 2024, Anthony became general manager, and the company saw 36% growth in his first year. With 50 years in the industry, Carrajat, who was also the founder and curator of the Elevator Historical Society in Queens, NY, recently retired, and “his legacy of dedication and deep industry knowledge remains a cornerstone of our ethos,” Anthony said.
Master Elevator Parts’ inventory now surpasses 10,000 items, encompassing everything from new and cutting-edge items to used and expertly refurbished parts such as coils, relays and obsolete OEM equipment, including having hard-to-find products in stock. This helps keep the company’s clients’ projects on track. Anthony said:
“Master Elevator Parts is not just about supplying products; we are about creating solutions that empower elevator companies to excel. Our rapid response time and extensive inventory make us the go-to supplier for immediate needs, reinforcing our commitment to being the quickest and most reliable source in the market.”
This response time, readiness and project range are strengthened by the company’s long-term employees like Chris Moors and Michael Sipala, “both of whom are integral in driving our vision forward,” according to Anthony. The company currently has four employees and uses a third-party provider management and logistics company. Master Elevator has warehouses in Long Island City and New Jersey and ships across the U.S. Anthony said:
“At Master Elevator Parts and Solutions, we are dedicated to keeping elevators running safely and efficiently by providing top-quality, hard-to-find parts with expert service and fast lead times. Our mission is to be the trusted partner for elevator contractors, offering innovative solutions, exceptional customer support and a commitment to reliability in every component we supply.”
Master Elevator has a partnership with HyTec Dealer Services, allowing the company to extend exceptional services in printed circuit board repair, further cementing its role as a full-spectrum provider in the elevator industry. Additionally, Master Elevator’s offerings include top-of-the-line Alberto Sassi machines and Haider Drive machines, known for their reliability and innovation, along with GAL parts including interlock contacts, rollers and limit switches and Fermator car and hall door operators and equipment.
Master Elevator has distribution agreements in place with several manufacturers and currently services 90% elevator service-related businesses. Anthony said the company often works with Nouveau Elevator, Universal Elevator, Gable Elevator, the American Elevator Group, Champion Elevator and 3-Phase Elevator, among others.
In looking to the future for Master Elevator Parts, Anthony said the company’s growth plans are not just geographical but also technological, adding:
“We continue to innovate and adapt in an ever-evolving industry, ensuring that Master Elevator Parts remains at the forefront, helping to elevate the standards and expectations of elevator maintenance and repair.”
