Phase two of Optima Chicago Center, a 54-story mixed-use structure designed by David Hovey and developed by DeBartolo, topped out earlier this year, bringing a bold new addition to the Chicago skyline, SkyRise Cities reported. It will house hundreds of residents in a glassy, green building with a bright-red, landscaped podium and joins phase one, a completed blue-and-black tower next door. Optima Chicago Center is in the heart of downtown, close to the Magnificent Mile, and joins “a host of new highrises” in the city.
