KONE supplies the elevators for Çaykur’s new packaging factory constructed in Rize.

KONE, which has adopted the “Advanced People Flow” philosophy for all living quarters, including residences, trade centers, hotels, hospitals, airports, subways and shopping malls, installed 22 machine-room-less elevators in Çaykur’s largest tea packaging factory. located on an area of 45,000 m2.

Being a first in Turkey, these elevators including 16 with a capacity of 5 tons, one KONE TranSys™ freight and service elevator of 3 tons, and five MonoSpace™ passenger elevators with a capacity of 1.000 kg and reach a travel distance of 40 meters.

KONE TranSys™ freight elevators, which are machine-room-less with a 4:1 roping, a high capacity and travel distance, and manufactured in Finland, provide an ideal solution for the packaging factory, which operates continuously.

KONE Transys™ freight and service elevators offer the proper technology for vehicle transportation in underground or roof parking lots where available space is as important as freight transport.  While it has fast and durable hoisting to cope with rough treatment, it also provides a smooth ride to handle fragile loads, thanks to its frequency control system.

In addition to their power and high-performance, KONE Transys™ freight elevators installed in Çaykur Packaging factory have a proper signalization and cabin that match the building’s interior, and also have full-width doors that maximize the usage of space in the car.

KONE Turkey Sales Director Mustafa Bülbül came up with an explanation about the units in Çaykur Packaging Factory and said that, instead of a standard elevator, they offer the most suitable solution for end users in line with the intended use of the building, and KONE has always designed its advanced technology products in terms of “digitalization,” which meets the needs of the users today and also in the future. He stated that, in this way, their aim is to provide an advanced level of safety, comfort and design for the people flow with the solutions that meet the needs of the buildings at the maximum level.
