SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is offering an exclusive opportunity to view July 4th fireworks from 1,100 ft over NYC. Both observation deck and art installation, SUMMIT is a 65,000 ft2, immersive space occupying the 91-94 floors of One Vanderbilt.

The Independence Day celebration will be held in the Affinity room, featuring 30,725 ft2 of mirrors to reflect the city lights and fireworks. Usually filled with silver “floating reflective orbs,” the venue will be decorated with red and blue balloons for the occasion. The elevator lights will also be updated to add patriotic flair.

The elevator system serving SUMMIT is named Ascent. Installed by Liberty Elevator, these all-glass, rack-and-pinion lifts provide visitors with a unique view of the city as they ascend. The Ascent elevator system was the 2022 winner of the ELEVATOR WORLD Project of the Year in the Elevators, New Construction category.

Tickets to SUMMIT’s July 4th festivities cost US$350 per person and include access to the installation’s three levels, two premium drinks and themed food. Other features of the evening include live music and festive holiday games.
