Vertical Assessment Associates (VAA) is comprised of professionals from the elevator industry having experience in every aspect of the business. All of our consultants hold nationally recognized Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certification issued under accreditation by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. We provide Equipment Assessments, Maintenance Reviews, Due Diligence, Modernization Consultation, Specification Development, Project Management from design and manufacturing to construction, installation, sales and service-maintenance. Our associates also provide inspection services, expert testimony for accident litigation, continuing education for the elevator industry (consultants/inspectors/technicians), and sit on National Code committees (for code development and analysis).
