A 10-year-old boy died in Wahroonga, New South Wales (NSW), Australia, on November 1 as a result of being “crushed under an elevator” at a school for the disabled, People is among outlets to report. NSW emergency responders arrived at the school to remove the child, but he died at the scene. The school is closed until further notice, and NSW Police have launched an investigation. “We ask for privacy and space for our students, families and staff to grieve at this difficult time as we remember our beautiful student,” a statement from the school said.
