TK Elevator (TKE) announced on May 28 it provided 150 heavy-duty victoria escalators for the newly reopened Guangzhou Baiyun train station in Guangzhou, China. Positioned as one of China’s cutting-edge “superstations,” the revamped Guangzhou Baiyun station serves as a vital link between the country’s expanding transportation networks. The seven-story facility features 24 tracks and platforms, a 40,000-m2 waiting hall and capacity for up to 15,00 people. TKE observed that Guangzhou Baiyun helps solidify its position as a preferred provider for infrastructure projects worldwide. Its vertical-transportation solutions can be found at international airports in Portland, Oregon; Toronto; and Hong Kong, and in metro stations around the world, including in Hamburg and Berlin, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; Rome; Istanbul; Cairo, Egypt; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
