Otis announced in June it installed 26 vertical-transportation (VT) units — 15 Gen2® lifts, seven platform lifts and four LinkTM escalators at One Exchange Square, a redeveloped, 13-story, 1990s office building on the Broadgate Campus in London. The elevators will feature Internet of Things connectivity with Otis ONETM, along with the Compass® 360 destination-dispatch system and the EMS PanoramaTM 2.0. elevator-management system. Developed by LaSalle Investment Management and constructed by Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd., One Exchange Square will boast 430,000 ft2 of workspace and 17,000 ft2 of retail, according to LaSalle. It was designed by Fletcher Priest Architects. Scheduled for completion in early 2026, the property is aiming for the highest sustainability ratings. Otis said it looks forward to working with Multiplex, M3 Consulting, First Pacific Advisors and the rest of the project team.
