35-Story Condo Tower To Break Ground in 2025 in Houston

Houston-based developer Satya plans to break ground in 2025 on the Pickard Chilton-designed, 35-story St. Regis Residences on four acres overlooking River Oaks, Memorial Park, Buffalo Bayou and downtown Houston on Asbury Place, Realty News reports. The condominium tower will be the first exclusively residential development of St. Regis — a luxury Marriott hotel brand — in Texas. Completion is anticipated in late 2027, and the developer is confident there will be plenty of aging Baby Boomers looking to downsize who will pay US$1,000 per ft² for a “well-appointed 2,500 ft² condo.” The project team also includes project architect Kirksey, interior designer ForrestPerkins and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
