Ad Rail USA Awarded GBAC Star for Escalator Germ Prevention

Ad Rail USATM announced on February 14 it has been awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STARTM Registered Seal for its Safe 2 Touch program addressing escalator safety and germ prevention. The GBAC Advisory Council assessed the program for scientific validity, usability, practicality, safety and efficacy. Observing escalator handrails are among the dirtiest surfaces in public facilities, Ad Rail USA said it remains “focused on solving the 120-year problem of not only rider safety but also infectious disease on escalators nationwide.” That focus became more intense as a result of the pandemic. The company offers proprietary film applied to escalator handrails for media and event sponsorship campaigns for top national brands, including Amazon, Raytheon, GlaxoSmithKline, Panasonic, Sprint and IBM.
