Capital Blue Cross has agreed to a yearlong Ad Rail USA™ campaign at the Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. The deal is part of a US$35 million infrastructure investment that created a new TSA checkpoint and terminal connect at the airport. Ad Rail, a patented film for escalator handrails, will be applied on the escalators just outside the TSA checkpoint area. ABE Executive Director Thomas R. Stoudt says the partnership will “enhance escalator rider safety and handrail cleanliness on the new escalators,” as well as offer businesses opportunities to advertise in a high-traffic area that all outbound passengers will use. The completed project was celebrated with an event on July 28with U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and other federal, state and local leaders in attendance
