Another Key Transition at CEDES for the New Year

Jan Giger, most recently global head of access innovations, has become lead for hoistway innovations, filling the role most recently held by Steven Freedman, who has transitioned to group chief technology officer. Giger also assumed the role of president of a new elevator and escalator business unit. Giger has been with CEDES for more than 19 years, starting as a design engineer. Since then, he has held leading roles in sales, product management and marketing. Both Freedman and Giger remain members of the CEDES management board.
