ATTA Elevators Acquires Toronto Area’s Vertical Motion

ATTA Elevators, a full-service elevator and escalator company headquartered in Concord, Canada, announced on February 1 the acquisition of Vertical Motion, based in the greater Toronto area and in business since 2010. On closing, Vertical Motion will be integrated into ATTA’s operations under the ATTA brand. As a result of the acquisition, ATTA now has more than 50 employees and more than 1,200 units under maintenance, in addition to a what Louis Sideris, ATTA vice president of customer experience, calls “a very robust modernization order book.” Joining the ATTA team are Dave Bond and Dave Baylis as maintenance manager and modernization manager, respectively.
