Axxiom Elevator Expands Southwest Presence With Acquisition

After acquiring Arizona Elevator Services, Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Axxiom Elevator has further expanded its Southwest presence by acquiring IronHawk Elevator, based in Tucson, Arizona, and serving southern Arizona and western New Mexico. Jupiter, Florida-based Maven Group, financial advisors to IronHawk, announced the deal on December 19. Axxiom completed the transition with financial backing from Gauge Capital, while Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman, Hermann served as legal counsel for Axxiom and Gauge Capital. Thompson Law Group served as legal counsel for the sellers. In 2007, IronHawk was founded by Bill and Laura Mullen, who developed the business with the help of a strong group of employees who will continue to be the face of the company. Axxiom CEO Jeremy Metzger described IronHawk as “a perfect fit,” and the Mullins — who will stay on for the next few months to ensure a smooth transition — thanked Maven Group’s Dominik Sachsenheimer and Carson Bombara for their “calm, discrete and often humorous support throughout this endeavor.”
