Backed By Schmersal, New German Company Offers Range of Lift Services

Fröhling and DICEO’s core product, EYELEVATE

Two partners with complementary skills — Schmersal Group and compreneur AG — have launched DICEO Group GmbH in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, to offer a range of services to lift operators and maintenance companies, Schmersal announced on September 7. Schmersal specializes in developing and manufacturing safety switchgear systems and lift controls, and compreneur is a management consultancy that specializes in innovation and entrepreneurship. DICEO Group CEO is Benjamin Fröhling of compreneur. Exhibiting at the upcoming interlift trade show in Augsburg, Germany, DICEO’s core offering is its EYELEVATE non-invasive retrofit system. Via smartphone or tablet, EYELEVATE’s smart monitoring system allows users to check the status of their lift at any time. In addition to Internet of Things-based lift monitoring, DICEO offers lift portfolio analysis, consulting and maintenance/operations management. DICEO observes that, in Schmersal, it has a strong industry leader with more than 75 years’ experience as partner.
