Bronx, NY-headquartered Start Elevator announced on May 14 it absorbed the service portfolio of G-Tech Elevator Associates LLC, based in Linden, New Jersey, and serving customers throughout New York and New Jersey. G-Tech was founded by father and son Dominick and Brock Glenn in 2010. Dominick Glenn said G-Tech has known Start for many years, and described its reputation for quality service as unsurpassed. Start founder and President Jack O’Shea said that the companies’ combined strength “will provide additional benefits to all our customers and continue to build on the success of both businesses.” Brock Glenn observed the complexity of transitioning G-Tech’s service portfolio while retaining its installation business required professional help, and that Maven Group remained by G-Tech’s side from connecting it with interested partners to finalizing the transaction. O’Shea said the G-Tech deal is “the latest of many such initiatives designed to accelerate Start Elevator’s growth.”
