Brooklyn’s Olympia Residential Tower Makes Progress

The 33-story residential building Olympia in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, NYC, has made a great deal of progress, with the top already reached and a good bit of the exterior having been done, New York YIMBY reports. The tower, at 30 Front Street, had only made it about halfway up in September, but work done since then shows a structure largely enclosed, with large windows and dark-gray paneling. Olympia is a 401-ft-tall, sail-shaped tower designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, and will yield 76 condominiums designed by Workstead. The units will be offered in one- to five-plus-bedroom layouts. Olympia will offer more than 38,000 ft2 of indoor/outdoor amenities spread across three floors. Urban Atelier Group is managing the construction, Manhattan Concrete created the superstructure, and King Contacting Group is working on several items, including exterior insulation and roofing. Olympia is expected to be completed sometime in the latter half of this year.
