CECA Announces TSSA Town Hall and Member Meetings

The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) announced a town hall meeting with Ontario’s Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is planned on November 21 at 2:30 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to send agenda items, questions and concerns they may have for the TSSA by October 16, as well as register by clicking on the links. The special guest will be Dean McClellan of TSSA and Technical Safety BC. Prior to the town hall, the CECA Construction Hoist Committee will meet at 10 a.m. The CECA Central Region will meet after the TSSA town hall. A light meal will be served during the meeting, which will include a presentation by Insta Answer titled, “The 2019 Elevator Code Demystified: Navigating the Wild Wild Wild West of Today’s Video Monitoring Systems.” All meetings are set to take place at the Sandman Signature Mississauga Hotel in Mississauga, Ontario.
