CECA Scholarship Application Now Available

The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) has announced that the application is now open (within the member section of the website) for the seventh annual CECA Scholarship. There will be four CDA2,500 scholarships potentially awarded this year – two toward the pursuit of a career in the elevator industry and two toward a pursuit of a career in any field. The scholarships are available to any member in good standing of CECA. All employees, their (step), (grand) children and/or spouses who intend to further their education in 2022-2023 in post-secondary studies at a recognized educational institute in Canada are eligible to apply. A Scholarship Selection Committee has been appointed by CECA’s president to review applications, which will be reviewed blindly. All scholarship funds will be sent directly to the registrar at the school indicated by the applicant. In the event the winner cannot accept the scholarship award, a runner-up will be selected. Previous CECA scholarship winners are ineligible. The deadline for applying is June 30, and applicants will be required to provide CECA with the name and email addresses of two references. Please contact office@ceca-acea.org with any questions.
