Chalke Takes Over Responsibility for Schindler Asia Pacific

Nitin Chalke, current country head Schindler India, will join the Schindler Group Executive Committee (GEC), taking over responsibility for Schindler Asia Pacific. He will succeed Robert Seakins who will step down from the GEC and retire after 22 years with the company. Chalke first joined Schindler in 1998 as field operations director at Schindler India, and then served in various senior leadership roles at Eaton Corp. in Asia Pacific and North America. Chalke rejoined Schindler in 2023 as country head India. Chalke holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering and a degree in management and marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. As of July 1, the GEC includes: Paolo Compagna (CEO), Carla De Geyseleer (chief financial officer and deputy CEO), Matteo Attrovio (chief information officer), Danilo Calabrò (Europe South), Donato Carparelli (chief technology officer), Chalke (Asia Pacific), Patrick Hess (Europe North), Vikén Martarian (Americas and Escalators), Hugo Martinho (Human Resources) and Meinolf Pohle (China).
