Companies Partner on Largest Independent Elevator IoT Deployment in North America

Lift AI, Southern Elevator and Intelevator have partnered on the largest independent elevator Internet of Things (IoT) deployment in North America, the companies announced on April 10. Data from Lift AI devices will help power a new Lift AI-developed Software as a Service (SaaS) application designed specifically for elevator mechanics and their customers. The partnership currently includes 400 Lift AI IoT deployments across Southern Elevator’s service portfolio, and will scale to 1,000 deployments by the end of the year, with further expansion planned in 2024. Lift AI’s experience in developing custom SaaS applications that harness IoT data, as well as partner data, led to an initial pilot program in 2022, and morphed quickly into the partnership. The new IoT-enabled software is set to be introduced globally this fall, and interested companies are encouraged to contact Lift AI to join a beta test program. “The partnership furthers Lift AI’s mission to bring the world’s elevators online, enhances Southern Elevator’s reputation as a premier independent elevator service company and showcases Intelevator’s innovation in bringing unique data to the industry for the benefit of the customer,” the companies said.
