Ahead of anticipated completion in mid-2026, DAMAC Properties marked a significant milestone at its 71-story Cavalli Tower: completion of the initial casting for the property’s raft foundation, Construction Week Middle East reported on July 20. Completed by China State Construction Engineering Corp. over 25 h, the casting involved more than 2,000 mT of steel and 4,500 m3 of concrete. The DAMAC technical team oversaw design of the foundation, the completion of which “marks a critical phase” in the construction of the 436-unit Dubai Marina luxury residential tower, which will feature interior design by Italian fashion house Cavalli and “breathtaking views of Dubai’s renowned Palm Jumeriah.” For easy accessibility, according to DAMAC, “exclusive panoramic jet elevators” will also be built.
