The Elevator Association of Florida (EAOF) held its second annual golf outing on December 4. The sold-out tournament took place at The Savannahs Golf Course on Merritt Island, Florida, and approximately 100 golfers participated. The event was sponsored by Innovation Industries Inc, and proceeds were split between EAOF and the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF). The following day, the EAOF quarterly meeting took place at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The well-attended meeting included four presentations on topics including traction machine replacement vs. refurbishment and drilling for hydraulic cylinders. Michael Ryan, VP Business Development at The Peelle Company, observed that “the interest and activity within EAOF is reflective of the increasing Florida population.”
