Early Bird Discount for Lift and Escalator Symposium Ends June 30

The early bird discount for the 16th Lift and Escalator Symposium, taking place on September 24-25 in the Kettering Park Hotel in Kettering, U.K., ends on June 30. The symposium is an annual event that brings together experts from the field of vertical transportation and allows speakers to present peer-reviewed papers. The event will feature industry experts and academics talking about various topics ranging from safety, maintenance, Internet of Things and engineering. The keynote speaker, Mike Burton, director, Building Engineering Office Sector Lead at AECOM, will speak about the “Future Office.” The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Guide D: 2025 seminar and official launch of the seventh edition will be held before the symposium on September 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The GBP85.00 (US$116) plus value-added tax fee covers a full day of expert-led technical content. Attendees will hear directly from the Guide’s authors as they walk through each chapter, highlighting major updates and new content.
