Asansör İstanbul Fair, organized by Tarsus Türkiye and supported by AYSAD, was held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, Türkiye on March 9-12. In the wake of the devastating Kahramanmaraş earthquakes that took place just before the fair, more than 360 companies, which set up stands in nine halls, met with thousands of visitors from Türkiye and abroad. The official opening ceremony was not held this year; instead, a panel titled “Elevators and Buildings Subject to Seismic Conditions” attracted great attention. Moderated by MAKFED Vice President Sefa Targıt, the panel was attended by Dr. Erdem İmrak, CEN TC 10 Elevators Technical Committee chairman; Esfandiar Gharibaan, ELA Component Committee member; Dr. Ferhat Çelik; and CEN TC 10/WG 8 Coordinator and Italy UNI/CT 019 President Paolo Tattoli. The next Istanbul Fair will take place again at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center on April 24-27, 2025.
