The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation of Canada (EESFC) plans to hold a silent auction to benefit the Foundation during the 29th Annual Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) Convention in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on June 13-16. EESFC is asking each industry supplier to bring an item (small enough to avoid shipping) to auction off during the event. Money raised will go toward EESFC programs. “The Foundation is passionate about educating elementary school children on the safe use of elevators and escalators,” said EESF Canada Executive Director Alison Whittaker, who may be contacted at email for more information.
