EFESME Paris Roundtable Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EFESME) will hold a roundtable in conjunction with French national member Association Nationale des PME de I’Ascenseur (ANPA) on April 4 in Paris, part of a series of events to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025. The roundtable gave attendees the chance to meet and talk with members of the French lift sector, its small and medium-sized enterprises and its workers, as well as entities involved with the sector — notified bodies, building administrators, architects and others. Thanking ANPA for all its good work, EFESME Secretary General José María Compagni observed that Paris was the perfect place to start the series of events, the purpose of which is to “celebrate together the richness and diversity of the lift industry in Europe.” To face the many challenges that lie ahead, Compagni said, manufacturers, installers and maintenance companies must continue to work together to ensure “a safer and more accessible Europe for everyone.”
