EFESME Participates in 53rd ANACAM National Assembly in Monaco

The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EFESME) participated in the 53rd Anacam (Italian elevator association) National Assembly in Monaco on June 13. Among those to address the assembly were Marco Cogliati, director for Research Design & User Experience at TRE-E scrl, a consortium of elevator and escalator industry service providers operating across Italy; Tiziano Caresani, technical office manager at ICM Lift Components and EFESME technical expert; Andrea Raffaelli, policy officer and expert coordinator at Small Business Standards; and EFESME President Massimo Bezzi. Bezzi highlighted the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) being directly involved at the European level to help guide policies and standards. Among many highlights was an insightful video presentation by European Commission Head of Machinery & Equipment Mehdi Hocine on the lift sector and its SMEs.
