EFESME SBS Training on Standardization in the Lift Sector

The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EFESME) and Small Business Standards (SBS) plan to host the second 2024 SBS national training session on standardization in the lift sector on November 28. Training will cover topics of high relevance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including the SBS report on SMEs’ inclusiveness in national standardization, the ongoing evolution of standards in the lift sector and how SMEs can participate in standardization processes at the national and European levels. The in-person training will take place at the Technical University of Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria. “The event will be a great opportunity to meet Bulgarian lift SMEs, as well as representatives of the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization, to create a virtuous circle of training and information,” organizers said.
