Elevator Assembly Plant Planned for Azerbaijan

Belarus and Azerbaijan signed several documents relating to cooperation in the manufacturing sector at a recent meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperations in Baku, Azerbaijan, Azernews reports. One document provided a roadmap for setting up an elevator assembly plant in Azerbaijan in 2023-2024. The agreement was signed between Mogilev, Belarus-based Mogilevliftmash and Baku-based Ulu Goyce. Other documents signed pertained to establishing a mutual supply of electrical products and concluding an automobile dealer agreement between the two countries.
