Elevator Safety Run Sets Record at SLM World 2024

On the second day of Smart Lift & Mobility (SLM) World 2024, organizers achieved a monumental milestone with the Elevator Safety Run with more than 1,500 people joining the event, Sangri Today reports. Reflecting on the triumph of the Elevator Safety Run and the record-setting flag formation, Anitha Ragunath, director at event organizer Virgo Communications, said, “Achieving a new record for the largest flag formation not only celebrates our collective dedication to promoting elevator safety, but also shines a spotlight on pressing social issues like the welfare of the girl child. This historic achievement underscores the strength of our community and the impact of uniting for a common cause, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards safer, more inclusive urban mobility solutions.” The Elevator Safety Run and flag formation, integral to SLM World 2024, aligned with the event’s broader agenda, including a specialized exhibition space for industry stakeholders, with more than 100 exhibitors, and a summit featuring dynamic discussions and workshops. The event was also host to the India Elevator Awards 2024, which celebrated pioneers in vertical transportation, real estate and architectural design who have integrated and maximized the latest technological advancements from conception to execution.
