ENR Announces 2022 Top 250 International Contractors

Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently announced its 2022 Top 250 International Contractors, with major companies based in Europe, Asia, Scandinavia and North America in the top 20. Companies are ranked by construction revenue generated outside of their home countries in U.S. millions of dollars. The top five are Grupo ACS/Hochtief of Madrid, Spain; VINCI of Nanterre, France; China Communications Construction Group Ltd. of Beijing; Bouygues of Paris; and STRABAG SE of Vienna, Austria. A full, in-depth list is available to paid ENR subscribers. “Amid an increasingly complex global construction market, the Top 250 International Contractors report that owners are placing a greater emphasis on meeting basic project goals: delivering on time, under budget and at the promised value,” ENR stated. “But with supply chains still rebounding from COVID-19 and some economies now feeling the ripples of war of Ukraine, even basic work needs skill and strategy from contractors to keep rising construction costs and risks in check.”
