CEMEX supplied low-emission Vertua® concrete for the recently completed foundation and parking facilities under The Bridge, a 174-m office tower designed by UNStudio and developed by Ghelamco at 71 Grzybowka in Warsaw, Poland, Eurobuild reports. Work is now underway on the core of the 40-story office tower, scheduled for completion in early 2025. It will be connected to the former headquarters of publisher Bellona and contain 47,000 m2 of space, as well as an open terrace on the top floor for tenants. Observing The Bridge has already received SmartScore (which includes cost efficiency and sustainability) and WiredScore (focused on smart technology and digital connectivity) certificates — firsts in the Central and Eastern Europe region — Ghelamco Poland Commercial and Business Development Director Jaroslaw Zagorski said, “We are building the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly tower in Poland.”
