ELEVATOR WORLD proudly announces the 2024 Project of the Year winners. Expert teams in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Singapore and the Middle East emerged victorious by successfully completing challenging, rewarding vertical-transportation (VT) projects in eight categories featuring office buildings, public transit systems, private residences, a hotel and a university. This year’s winning projects are outstanding, and we heartily congratulate all the companies and teams involved. They are, in Elevators, New Construction, Schindler Elevator for National Bank in Montreal, Canada; Elevators, Modernization, TK Elevator for The Humboldt Bank Building in San Francisco, California; Escalators, New Construction, Otis for the Elizabeth Line of the London Underground in London, U.K.; Escalators, Modernization, Otis for the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit North-South and East-West Lines; Inclined Lifts, Hill Hiker, Inc., for an inclined lift system in Dubai, U.A.E.; Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts, Day Elevator & Lift for an accessibility system at Columbia University in NYC; Private-Residence Lifts, Global Tardif Elevator Manufacturing Group for an elevator serving a home in Calgary, Canada; and Special-Purpose Lifts, Eshel Lifts Ltd. for an elevator system serving a hotel in Nahariya, Israel.
