Fatality Reported at Mexico Construction Site

The body of a man believed dead for four days was located at the bottom of an under-construction elevator shaft of an apartment building in central Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the Riviera Maya News reports. Police confirmed that the 35-year-old victim was a bricklayer and worker at the site. Officials say that he fell several meters to this death, and firemen were brought in for vertical retrieval. The work site was closed for a time after the incident.
