Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Khumukcham Joykishan laid the foundation stone for a new elevator facility at the Manipur Press Club in Imphal, Manipur, India, on July 18, The Imphal Times reported. Joykishan informed the public that the long-awaited addition, aimed at improving accessibility for journalists and visitors, will be a G4 model elevator. The initial plan was to install a G3 type elevator, but after technical consultations, a G4 model with a capacity of eight passengers will now be installed, yet is subject to final approval by the technicians.
