Fujitec, headquartered in Shiga, Japan, reported on August 7 it hosted a global health and safety conference for field personnel over four days to promote the company mantra, “Pursuing Safety and Reliability.” Staff in charge of safety from Fujitec Hong Kong, Huasheng Fujitec in China, Fujitec Korea and Fujitec India toured each Fujitec facility, where they learned about safety through both classroom and hands-on training. Safety leaders observed a simulated accident scene and experienced a virtual reality (VR) program, activities augmented by meetings and discussions. After the conference, employees returned to their respective facilities to share what they learned. Fujitec said it consistently strives to improve safety awareness to prevent labor accidents.
