Linden, New Jersey-headquartered G-Tech Elevator Associates LLC tells ELEVATOR WORLD it provided the five-unit elevator system for SOLA, a new 12-story building offering 364 residential rental units in Woodside, Queens, NYC. All machine-room-less traction, the units have a BTS Elevator Packages package along with GAL door equipment paired with Elevator Controls pixel controllers and Imperial 478 machines. All travel at 350 ft/min, with two having 2500-lb capacity and three having 3500-lb capacity. New York YIMBY reported earlier this month that construction had been completed on the complex, designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Eight West, an affiliate of The Hakimian Organization. The property’s 28,000 ft2 of interior and exterior amenities include a 24/7 attended lobby, a dog run and, for an additional fee, an outdoor rooftop terrace.
