The Global Elevator Exhibition (GEE) Milano, planned at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy, on November 19-21, will include an exhibition platform focusing on innovations in maintenance and system upgrades and offering a full overview of the sector. GEE Milano gives property professionals a chance to discover the latest innovations for all types of lifts and components. The three key drivers reshaping the lift industry — safety, energy efficiency and accessibility — now encompass not only new installations, but also modernizations. GEE Milano organizers point out that, according to a study by Anie Ascensori, Italy ranks first in Europe and second in the world in the number of installed lifts at more than 1 million. Sixty percent of these units are older than 30 years and not compliant with current regulations, making them ideal for upgrades. GEE Milano’s exhibition platform will also spotlight the emerging segment of lift management software, and a series of talks will cover three main themes: Vision and Market Trends; Innovation and Technologies; and Regeneration, Efficiency and Sustainability.
