Leaders of the nonprofit Chornomorskaya Hospital in the Odesa Oblast province of southwestern Ukraine along the northern coast of the Black Sea announced open bidding to install a new elevator will occur on November 6, Intent reports, citing the electronic procurement system Prozorro. The purchase price is expected to be UAH2.36 million (US$57,217). Under the open-bidding process, terms are shortened, meaning procurement is much faster. The period for submitting proposals is seven calendar days, and challenges to qualifications may be submitted over five days. However, during such tenders there is often no auction, so the participant has no competitors. In 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine temporarily canceled electronic auctions, more recently deciding that tenders announced in Prozorro can be held without an auction.
