Hybon Completes Pitless Installation for Statue in Five Days

Hybon Elevators and Escalators has announced the groundbreaking achievement of installing a pitless lift within the statue of Bir Lachit Borphukan at Lahdoigarh in India. Realty+ reports. The installation happened amidst preparations for the unveiling of the 125-ft statue in March by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hybon Elevators and Escalators collaborated with engineers from Ahluwalia Contract (India) Ltd., the executing agency, to execute the installation in just five days. The pitless lift, a solution by Hybon Elevators, occupies minimal space and is ideal for historical monuments. The installation is one of a kind across India. Along with the installation, Hybon announced plans to expand into Assam, which the company believes “will be key to gaining market presence in the Northeast region of India and will further our commitment to providing exceptional elevator solutions across the region,” according to Ratan Sehgal, managing director at Hybon Elevators and Escalators.
