HydraSafe® Brake CEO Kevin Cunningham recently shared news with ELEVATOR WORLD about work in NYC, a physical move and a new hire. In Manhattan in late April, HydraSafe provided installation training to Anthony Rinaldi and his Schindler team at 5 Times Square, a 38-story office tower. HydraSafe then surveyed 17 elevators at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with partner Claddagh, which will be providing a control system for single-plunger code compliance at the Met. Around the same time, HydraSafe spent several weeks moving from its Chicago location to a new, 10,000-ft2 facility in Cedar Lake, Indiana. The company currently occupies 5,000 ft2 with room to grow. Cunningham said HydraSafe doubled its space and manufacturing capabilities. Finally, the company announced its new Director of Sales and Manufacturing Patrick Moore. Cunning said Moore is a “machinist by trade so elevators are no stranger to him!”
